MCLE: The Charitable Remainder Trust after the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

February 27, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

Free – $30

One of the most common forms of charitable tax planning is the charitable remainder trust (“CRT”). By establishing a CRT, the donor can convert a highly appreciated asset, such as real estate or stocks, into lifetime income without paying capital gains tax on the sale. This program will discuss CRT planning issues under the new tax law.

Our speakers will be Kim Herold of McCormick & Barstow LLP and Wayne Longcrier of Longcrier and Associates.
