Guest speakers:

Anne Cyr – Ms. Cyr, Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law, is a Partner with George & Cyr. Ms. Cyr specializes in estate planning, trust and probate law, with an emphasis on probate and trust litigation. Her practice includes the preparation of wills, trusts (revocable and irrevocable), powers of attorney, spousal property agreements, and other estate planning vehicles. Her litigation practice includes fiduciary removal and surcharge actions, fiduciary defense, will and trust contests, heirship petitions and petitions to establish claims to property.  Ms. Cyr regularly teaches Recent Developments in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law for the California Continuing Education of the Bar.

Warren Sinsheimer –  Mr. Sinsheimer is the founding principal of Sinsheimer McIvor Juhnke & Stroh, LLP.  His personal practice focuses on trust and estate planning, and administration, taxation, fiduciary litigation, and charitable giving.  Mr. Sinsheimer has been a speaker for California Continuing Education of the Bar, the State Bar of California, Practicing Law Institute, the UCLA Estate Planning Institute, and the USC Probate and Trust Conference among others.  He has published throughout the trusts and estates field in various professional journals.  Mr. Sinsheimer has qualified and testified as an expert witness in San Luis Obispo County Superior Court on trusts and estates matters.  He has also been a consulting expert in trusts and estates litigation in other counties.

Herb Stroh – Mr. Stroh is a Partner with Sinsheimer McIvor Juhnke & Stroh, LLP in San Luis Obispo, and is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate.  His practice concentrates in the areas of estate planning, trust, probate conservatorship, and trust litigation. Before relocating to San Luis Obispo, Mr. Stroh was on the Los Angeles County Probate Mediation Panel, and has been appointed by the court to represent proposed conservatees in more than 100 cases.  He taught in the UCLA Attorney Assistant Program for over 10 years.  His article on Conservation Easements entitled “To Protect and to Conserve” was published in Los Angeles Lawyer.  Mr. Stroh has also served the Los Angeles Superior Court as Judge Pro Tem.

Scott Wall- Mr. Wall is a Partner with Andre, Morris & Buttery in San Luis Obispo.  Mr. Wall is Chairman of the Estate Planning, Trusts and Probate Practice Group and is a member of the Business and Real Estate Transactions Practice Group. He is certified by the State Bar of California as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law. Before starting his law practice, he was a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Wall concentrates his practice in estate planning and administration and business and real estate transactions. Because of his background as a CPA, Mr. Wall brings both income and estate tax expertise to his practice.
