San Luis Obispo Legal Assistance Foundation Welcomes New Board Members

By: Stephanie Barclay, Executive Director

San Luis Obispo Legal Assistance Foundation (“SLOLAF”) is pleased to announce its 2016 Board of Directors. We welcome new members: Ryan Maxwell (Pacific Western Bank), Natalie Frye Laacke (Adamski Moroski Madden Cumberland & Green LLP), Matthew Boutte (Attorney) and Nicole Pazdan (Elder Placement Professionals). And, we thank continuing board members: Dallas Mosier, John Carsel, Angie King and Scott Wall for their service.

SLOLAF runs the Senior Legal Services Project, the Government Benefits Program, and the Veterans Assistance Program.  In addition to providing community outreach and education, SLOLAF provides direct legal assistance to approximately 400 vulnerable SLO County seniors, veterans, and disabled adults each year.  The organization helps another 600 SLO County residents by providing advice and referrals to other resources.

Planning is underway for SLOLAF’s Third Annual Fundraiser, “Midnight in Paris,” which will be held on September 10, 2016 at the Edna Valley home of Lisa and Michael Toke.  Please save the date and plan to attend and support the important work we do.  For questions about the organization, the upcoming fundraiser, or to find out how you can help, please contact Executive Director, Stephanie Barclay, stephanie@slolaf.org, 805-548-0792.
