SLOLAF appreciates the commitment of those who volunteer.

 

Due to the nature of our work, we have limited opportunities for volunteers, but perhaps there is a place here for you! 

• • Volunteer Attorneys: Are you a current or retired attorney who wants to give back to the community? SLOLAF is happy to utilize the expertise of volunteer attorneys who are licensed in the state of California. Previous experience in the areas of law we service is very helpful.  

  • Event Volunteers: They say it takes a village, and SLOLAF's fundraising events definitely take a village. If you'd like to be part of our annual fundraising events, please drop us a line! We need assistance with anything from soliciting donations to picking up those donations to setting up at the event venue. We promise you'll have a blast! 

  • Community Outreach: Part of SLOLAF's outreach efforts involve canvassing neighborhoods and distributing flyers about our services. San Luis Obispo County is very spread out geographically, and we could use help getting the word out about our services.

  • Board Member: If you are interested in serving on SLOLAF's Board of Directors, please reach out. There are certain requirements and SLOLAF isn't the right fit for everyone, but we'd be happy to chat with you to see if you might be our next Board member!
