Government Benefits Appeals

SLOLAF assists seniors (60+) and low-income SLO County residents with the following government benefits appeals: 

• Medi-Cal

• CalWORKS

• CalFresh and California Food Assistance Program (CFAP)

• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

• Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)

• Cash Assistance Programs for Immigrants (CAPI)

• In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)

Please note that we cannot help you prepare your government benefits application. We assist with problems that arise after you apply, including being denied benefits or changes to your benefits.
